Summer Library Program 2026: Unearth A Story

Reading Challenge- For Youth (Ages Birth – 15)

To sign up for the Reading Challenge, stop by the Youth Department and pick up your paper reading log.

Youth participants are challenged to read for a total of 40 days. Every 8 days, participants will earn coupons to various restaurants and local attractions that they will come into the Library to collect. Coupons are first come, first served.

Complete the whole Reading Challenge by reading for a total of 40 days. Turn in your completed reading log to receive your completion certificate, completion prize, and tickets to enter the Grand Prize drawings.

Reading Challenge- For Adults (Ages 16+)

*New This Year* Participants aged 16+ are included in the Adult Reading Program!

Log and track how many books you read on your SLP 2026 Reading Log.
Stop by the Adult Department to pick up your log.

Each time you finish a book, you earn an entry into the Grand Prize Drawing. Stop by the Adult Circulation Desk to enter the drawing. More books read means more chances to win! Turn in your completed reading log by July 31 to enter into the Grand Prize Drawing and to receive your completion prize.
