Give to Jefferson Public Library

Jefferson Public Library welcomes donations in all forms, including volunteering, sponsorships, materials, monetary, in-kind donations, and planned giving. Donations help advance library services, build collections, improve technology and support facilities.

Ways to Give

Special Occasions

A gift may be made to the Jefferson Public Library to remember a loved one or to celebrate a special occasion. A letter acknowledging your gift will be sent to the honoree or the family of the person or event being honored. If you choose, you may also restrict your gift in support of programming or the purchase of library materials. If unrestricted, the donation will be used at the discretion of the Library Board.

Donate Items

All non-monetary donations will be considered by the library staff and/or Library Board. The library staff and/or Library Board will reserve the right to accept or reject any donation for any reason. Items accepted may be sold at the Friends of the Library book sale.

Monetary Donations and Bequests

A simple addition to your will can gift a portion or fixed amount of your estate to the Jefferson Public Library. Charitable bequests can be made in the form of a specific gift of cash or property, or as a percentage of an estate, whichever is best for your circumstances.
